MACHU PICCHU!!

It was the last day of the trip with my mom and sister… And the one we’d all been awaiting the most, MACHU PICCHU!
We had to wake up around 5am to get a ride to the train station to another bus up to Machu Picchu, almost 1.5 hours total in travel. we had stayed at a hotel in the sacred valley much closer than Cusco so we wouldn’t have to drive back and forth (the tour just dropped us off there yesterday).

It. Was. Amazing. It was very similar in structure to all the other buildings left over, but the surrounding mountains and everything about it really did just put it over that edge. 20140715-175019-64219523.jpg

And I got a baby llama for my animal satisfaction of the day…

To get back we had to go all the way back to Cusco so the train was 3.5 hours. About 2 hours in things got weird.

And then a fashion show started. And my sister got pulled in by that guy.

It was all quite strange, but a very eventful and incredible last day at that!
